From Tonbridge to Tutor : Matt Barry (Sc 11-16)
As part of our Life After Tonbridge online series
Matt turned his part time passion for teaching and learning into a full-time profession, when he recently traded in his secure career as a Westminster Civil Servant to set up his own academic tutor business, Kings Road Tutors. In this talk, Matt will discuss the key to choosing a fulfilling career, and the pros and cons of making a radical change in your career direction. Matt’s talk will be of particular interest to recent graduates and those unsure on their future career path.
If you are thinking of switching your career to something where you need to take that leap of faith to get started, we hope you’ll be inspired by Matt’s story overcoming this challenge and pursuing his passion.
