Modern art, at times, is as baffling as it is shocking. In this talk, Gayna Pelham will take 6 pieces of modern western art which have played a vital role in the timeline of art in the 20th and 21st centuries. The 20th century particularly saw the rise of so many new art movements: from fauvism to cubism, surrealism to abstract expressionism, readymades to installations, pop art to conceptual art.
