THERKILDSEN, Lance Karl Hyde, Dr
Passed away peacefully at home on 27 September 2021, aged 84. Former Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at St Margaret's Hospital, Epping and Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow.

NYREN, Christopher Reginald John
Died in December 2021, aged 86. He will be sadly missed by his widow Julia, and sons Charles (SH 84-89) and Mike (SH 86-91)

BOX, Anthony Maxwell, Lt Col (Tony) 
Passed away in August 2021.  Anthony served his country, retiring as a Lt Colonel in The Intelligence Corp.  A brave, honest and truly remarkable man, greatly loved and missed by his wife Carole.

OXLEY, Jeremy Richard
Passed away on 16 December 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Jeremy was a Chartered Accountant and well respected business man. He was a passionate golfer at the Scarcroft Golf Club in West Yorkshire. Brother to the late David (Sc 51-54) and Tony (Sc 54-58). He leaves behind his faithful wife Wendy of 49 years, sons Simon and James, their wives, four grandchildren and many friends.

Died peacefully at home 24 October 2021 after a long illness, aged 85. Much loved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all who knew him in Bosham, West Sussex.

Died peacefully surrounded by his family on 8 November 2021, aged 91. Dearly loved husband of Pam, father of Jo, Amanda, Johnny, grandfather of eight and older brother to David (Sc 45-50). He will be greatly missed by all.

Died peacefully at home, aged 97, surrounded by his family in October 2021. He will be sadly missed by his widow, Edith, two children and two stepchildren plus eight grandchildren.

Died peacefully in his sleep on 3 October 2021, aged 81. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his children, step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all.

KEMP, David Stephen
Died on 23 September 2021, aged 92. Dearly loved husband of Marion, father of Anthony (deceased), Will and Peter, grandfather of Thomas, Emy, Ada and Freddie, and uncle. Dedicated schoolmaster at Tonbridge.

BURNETT, Daniel George
Died from Multiple System Atrophy at home in Devon, on 12 March 2021, aged 66. He leaves behind wife Jane, children George, Josephine and Charlotte, and elder brother David (JH 65-70).  He is missed enormously and is now at peace.

CAZALET, Francis William Gibson
Died on 6 September, 2021, aged 83. Head of History at Tonbridge School, active in the CCF and a rowing coach. Francis retired early to engage in his passion for historical research on the history of listed buildings and genealogy. He was a regular guest at the school during his retirement. He leaves behind his wife Rosemary, children James, Helen and Thomas (PH 96-01).He will be much missed by his family, former colleagues and many friends.

GOODING, George Henry
Died on 13 August 2021, aged 94 after a few days in hospital. A devout Christian, he leaves behind his beloved son Robert, daughter-in-law Carole and grandchildren Tim and Emma. After National Service in the Royal Navy, George and his late wife Jean lived in Singapore and Malaysia for 10 years before returning to the UK where he enjoyed a career in Credit Control.

Died on 27 May 2021, aged 83. Beloved husband of the late Greta, loving father of Eric, Tim and Robert and a much miss missed grandfather. Active Mason and Rotary member for over 60 years.

Died at home on 7 June 2021, aged 90. Ornithologist, photographer, past Chairman of British Wildlife Sound Recording Society. Much loved husband, father and grandfather.

WARRENER, Michael Reginald
Died peacefully on the 6th April 2021, his 97th birthday. He started at Tonbridge just over 83 years ago. A week before he died he had been talking about his first day, remembering people he saw and the Bumph Test that he had to complete. He leaves a son Andrew (SH 70-75) and a daughter Vala. He also leaves five grand children including Thomas (SH 04-09) and Florence.

Peacefully went to join his wife Hazel on 10th May 2021. Loving father and devoted grandfather, very much cherished and missed. Donations to Cancer Research UK.

CHRISTIE, Forrest Brian (Brian)
Died on 18th April 2021, aged 87, after many years with Alzheimer's. An Orthodontic Consultant, specialising in cleft palates and other facial abnormalities, Brian was made an honorary member of the Craniofacial Society before his retirement in 2000.

Following a very adventurous life, Peter passed away on 13 April 2021, aged 87.

MIDDLETON, Stephen
Died peacefully on Thursday 8 April 2021, aged 91 years. A much loved husband to Carol, father to Rosemary, Judith and Timothy, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed.
Stephen was educated at Manor House Preparatory School and Tonbridge School and served in the Royal Engineers as a Captain. After leaving the army, he was Company Secretary for BOCM Pauls in Ipswich and was a regular member of the choir at St Michael’s in Framlingham.

DENHAM, Tim Maurice
Sadly passed away in his 74th year on 8 April 2021. Tim was a dedicated member of the OT Community, he spent many years as the Secretary of the Old Tonbridgian Society, and was honoured with Vice Presidency for his outstanding commitment. Tim was spoken of with warmth and affection by other OTs and was known for his wit and humour, he will be sadly missed.

MACKINTOSH, John Ian Hamilton (Ian)
Died on 22 January 2021, aged 80. Head of School, Tennis VI (Capt.), Rugby 1st XV.  A dedicated member of the OT Golf Society, Ian was one of the longest serving and most consistent attendees at OTGS events. He was also a keen angler. Husband to Victoria, father to Alex, Juliet, Evelyn and Henry (Sc 96-01) and grandfather.  An exceptional man who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Died in February 2021, shortly before his 86th birthday. David had been suffering from Parkinson's Disease in recent years, but passed away from natural causes. A true gentleman who will be sadly missed.
