To justify my merits as a public speaker, in the Annual Staff dinner of Laurence King Chartered Architects, in my reply on behalf of the staff I changed Henry into Laurence and let him chew his little bits of string. Then I sat his partner Ian Picken on the railroad track after giving him his carpet tack.
To follow up as the majority of the clients were Anglo Catholic clerics, I described my ignorance and failure to receive them correctly by giving them a firm handshake after twisting their hands into the right place.
