Julius (PH 06-11) and Fabian (WH 06-11) have penned a song 'Frontline' dedicated to the NHS, which they hope will raise proceeds for those on the frontline battling the pandemic. Last month, Julius was confined to bed with symptoms of presumed COVID-19, which left him 'anxious, paranoid and at an all-time low.' Julius - being young and healthy - also didn't expect to contract the illness. 'Before I got it, I thought I'd be the last person to get it, but I'd warn anyone who hasn't had it, that it is so easily caught. This virus spreads like wildfire. It felt like it was never going to end. It was making me super anxious and paranoid, it wouldn't suit anyone who suffers from anxiety already.' Julius and Fabian have consequently penned the track Frontline for the NHS. Although he was not admitted to hospital, the musician wanted to write a song to say thank you to all those who are on the frontline risking their lives every day. 'I wrote Frontline with my twin brother Fabian. We wrote it in 30 minutes, it just flowed out of us.' 'Due to lockdown, I recorded the vocals and piano in my bedroom and sent it to producer Paul Stanborough to produce it remotely, I'm really happy with how it came out. I was sat by my piano and the only thing on my mind was everything that is happening right now.' All money raised from downloads and streams during this period will go towards NHS Charities together. 'If I can play my part and raise some money through this song, then amazing, every little bit helps.' Whilst in isolation Julius and Fabian have also both shaved their hair in order to raise further funds for the NHS. Listen to Frontline here: https://lnk.to/JC-FRONTLINE |
