OLD TONBRIDGIAN REAL TENNIS, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 SEASONS

During the 2019/20 season only two fixtures were played, that being Kent Schools against Queen’s on 1 November and Petworth on 15 December. The Kent Schools fixture included players from Sevenoaks and King’s Canterbury as well as Tonbridge. The fixture at Petworth was played in appropriate Christmas spirit around an excellent lunch provided by Charles Fuente’s wife, Jan.

The balance of the 2019/20 season and the whole of the 2020/21 season were a complete wash-out, with all fixtures being cancelled as a result of the Wuhan Flu pandemic.

In the 2021/22 season, we played at Queen’s on 5 November, at Petworth on 28 November and in the Triangular fixture at Queen’s with the Skinners’ Company and RT Hong Kong on 18 March. We lost to Queen’s, drew with Petworth and came second to the Skinners in the Triangular.
