Old Tonbridgians have reached the Final of the Cricketer Cup again this year having beaten Haileybury Hermits at Haileybury on Sunday 28 July: Old Tonbridgians 208-9 (50 overs) beat Haileybury Hermits 112 (38.3 overs) by 96 runs.
The team will be playing Bradfield Waifs on Sunday 11 August at Arundel Castle. Old Tonbridgians, reached the Final last year under the captaincy of Hugo Snape, who remains in charge. They have county players in Marcus O’Riordan (Kent) and Ollie Sykes (Surrey) in what is a youthful side with the majority only having left School in the last three years.
The match will begin at 11.30 am. Entry to Arundel Castle Cricket Ground is free and there is plenty of car parking available. Light refreshments can be purchased on the ground, but a picnic lunch is recommended.
