The band Keane, currently comprised of three OTs and one former member also being an OT - Dominic Scott (JH 89-94), are set to release new music for the first time in five years. The song, entitled 'Love Actually', is to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the film, which is set to be re-released on 8 December.

The single was originally written for the 2003 film Love Actually and was created before they had been signed to a record label. Although the original song was never included in the film, it preceded the band's eventual huge success, with just six months after the film was released, their debut album reaching number one in the charts. The song has now been recorded for the first time and released in celebration both of the film's re-release, and also to mark the 20th anniversary of Keane's debut album Hopes and Fears.

Richard Curtis, Director of Love Actually has said that 'It’s so cool that the song is coming out now so everyone can hear it.'

More good news for Keane, whose lineup currently features OTs Tom Chaplin (HS 92-97), Tim Rice-Oxley (HS 89-94) and Richard Hughes (JH 89-94) also follows in their announcement as the headliners of Latitude Festival 2024. The festival, set to take place from Thursday 25 July until Sunday 28 July 2024, will also feature performances by the bands Duran Duran and Kasabian.
