News of OTs |
Welcome to the first Tonbridge Society newsletter of the Michaelmas Term, which I hope finds you and your family well. Here at the School, it has been wonderful to see a busy, lively campus once more over the past few weeks. I hope that you enjoy reading some of the stories from our Old Tonbridgians about their successes, careers and discoveries. Your feedback and contributions are always welcome, so please do feel free to get in touch and tell us your news. In recent times it has, of course, been necessary to cancel many of our popular OT gatherings and to offer a reduced programme of PAS events. To help you stay connected, we’re aiming instead to deliver a wide-ranging online programme of virtual gatherings and talks, as well as sharing articles of interest and sending regular newsletters. We now have a fantastic spread of virtual meet-ups available, and so we hope to ‘see’ many of you online soon. The events we have lined up include talks from people with fascinating vocations and those offering careers guidance. We’re also setting up a mentoring section on our community network, to help prepare boys for life after Tonbridge. If you have a story to tell, or if you can provide online mentoring to someone in our community, please do let us know by contacting us at tonbridgesociety@tonbridge-school.org With best wishes, Andy Whittall Director of Tonbridge Society |
