Tom Astley (WW 15-20) and Ed Surguy (WW 15-20) are currently in Guatemala and have climbed the Acetenango volcano for the Brain Tumour Charity. Please help them raise money for this really important charity.

On the 21st of June 2021, Ed and Tom completed their hike up to the summit of Acatenango volcano (13,000 ft) in Guatemala.

They did this in aid of raising funds for the The Brain Tumour Charity. It is a charity that is very close to their hearts following the passing of a best friend, Toby, in December of 2016.

Charities such as this can really make a difference researching new methods to potentially save people suffering with life altering illnesses.

The 5 year survival rate for brain tumours between 2013-2017 was just 12%. Action is needed to prevent the devastating effects of brain cancer on both those inflicted and their family/friends.
