Former Tonbridge School pupil Ben Earl has continued to impress viewers of the Rugby World Cup, putting on a great display of sporting prowess in England’s match against Fiji on Sunday 15 October, as he contributed to their 30-24 victory by assisting Joe Marchant in scoring. The quarter-final match was an exciting one, as they managed to edge out their fierce competitor Fiji in order to advance to the semi-final, which will take place on Saturday 21 October against rivals South Africa. England will be keen to avenge their 2019 loss to the Springboks, and Earl is sure to put on another impressive display on Saturday to assist his team in doing all they can to advance to the finals. When speaking to BBC Radio 5 after the match, Earl said "That is one of the best days of my career, I've not had a feeling like that at the end of the game, just huge relief." All at Tonbridge will be cheering Ben and the England Team on Saturday.
