OT Ben Hampson (SH 15-20) has completed his 24 week Initial Officer training at the first pass, and is now a commissioned RAF Pilot Officer following his passing out parade at RAF Cranwell last week. At Tonbridge, Ben was a valued part of the CCF contigent, achieving the rank of Cadet Flight Sargeant whilst at the School, and according to Contingent Commander Stefan Hargreaves, demonstrated 'tremendous leadership potential' during his time here. At the age of just 21, Ben is due to enter into the Royal Air Force's Intelligence Unit, and will be posted to Belfast in the coming weeks. Ben's fantastic achievment is especially commendable given that he has just completed his Undergraduate Degree in History from Durham University. Many congratulations to Ben from the entire Tonbridge community as he goes on to this exciting new chapter in his career.
