Congratulations to the Tonbridge School Grounds Team, who have advanced to the Quarter Finals of the Kent FA Pitches Cup. The quarter finals voting opens today, the 18 March 2024 and voting can be done on the Kent FA Twitter page: www.x.com/KentFA. Voting is open for three days and the Semi Final will commence on Monday 15 April.
The competition highlights grounds teams that maintain an excellent standard of sports pitches and facilities in the Kent area, and Tonbridge advanced to this next stage following a knockout-style round of 16, where voters chose between the best pitch based on photographs posted on the Kent FA X (twitter) account.
Please do consider voting by loging into X and clicking the Tonbridge pitch tweet to help the Tonbridge grounds team advance to the Semi Final. The winners of the competition will be invited to the Kent FA Grassroots Football Workforce Awards Dinner and presented with their award. The award is a wall plaque which recognises the achievment of best grassroots football pitch in Kent for the 2024 season.
Well done once again to the grounds team at Tonbridge for their work in maintaining an excellent standard of the pitches, and good luck to them in advancing further in the competition!
