OT Events & Reunions |
The Old Tonbridgian US Dinner was held on Tuesday, October 22, in New York, drawing a record 46 attendees to the distinguished Knickerbocker Club. We extend our gratitude to Ignacio Jayanti (Sc 81-86) for hosting this special evening. Regrettably, Dom McMullan (PH 92-97), Ignacio's regular co-host, was unable to attend due to an overseas business commitment.
Ignacio warmly welcomed guests, emphasising the importance of the OT community and the value of maintaining these strong connections. Following an excellent dinner, Adrian Ballard, Director of the Tonbridge Society, spoke briefly about the Tonbridge Educational Foundation’s priorities for the coming year, encouraging OTs in the US to reconnect with fellow members and to invite others to join the growing OT network in America.
The Headmaster, James Priory, then provided an update on developments at the School, and related anecdotes about the guests. He also made presentations to Anthony Davis (PS 62-66) and Ian Hooper (Sc 55-59) in recognition of their over 20 years of service to the US Dinner and dedicated support of the TEF for 18 years, as well as to Ignacio Jayanti, thanking him for his ongoing generosity in hosting this wonderful event.
If you are planning a move to the US, please inform us so we can ensure you receive an invitation to next year’s OT Dinner.
