On Saturday 29th June the Parents’ Arts Society hosted the biennial Midsummer Ball on the school's lower fields. Guests enjoyed a drinks reception upon arrival with performances from Tonbridge School's Jazz Band, on a beautiful summer's evening, reaching 34°C. Guests were able to have their portraits drawn by a caricaturist before enjoying a three-course meal in the marquee. Mid meal, a surprise flash mob masquerading as waiting staff performed a ‘Greatest Showman’ themed set. Music continued throughout the evening with a live band and DJ, whilst a boar's head vodka luge provided cool relief to revelers. Upon departure, guests were gifted a Tonbrideg School reusable coffee cup. The next Midsummer ball will take place in the Summer Term 2021. |
