Will Furlong (HS 08-13) rode Cross Country at the Badminton Horse Trials for Great Britain on Saturday 4th May. The Cross Country day at Badminton attracts crowds of up to a quarter of a million and is the second largest for money made in the world. Will made a successful four-star debut at Badminton last year completing with Collien P2 – his entry this year, which he co-owns with former Sister in Charge, Helen Burnop. “She was fantastic,” said Will. “She stayed with me and was a lot more relaxed in there than she has been in the past. There were no obvious mistakes and there’s still a lot more to come from her.” Will, who was one of the youngest competitors, celebrates his 24th birthday the week after Badminton.
